What is Adobe Acrobat Reader? Why does i-counseling use Adobe Acrobat?
Where do I get it? Where do I get help with Adobe Acrobat Reader?
Our courses are generated for Adobe Acrobat Reader version 5.0 or higher, the primary form and documentation program for the Internet. Adobe Acrobat Reader is used by the IRS, many educational institutions, and industry. Please keep in mind that many of our documents are lengthy and may take a long time to open, depending on the speed of your modem connection.
Here are guidelines for opening these files.
- If you have Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or higher:
installed on your computer,
you can open and print i-counseling courses. Click on the view
button next to the name of the course, and the document will open
for you to read and print.
- If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or higher:
i-counseling courses are pdf files that can only be opened in
Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or higher. To download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader,
go to http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.
Follow the instructions for Adobe Acrobat Reader on Adobe's
website. Remember to both download and install Adobe Acrobat Reader in order for the program to open our courses. Adobe Acrobat
Reader is shareware which means you can download and install
it free.
- If you have Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or higher and still cannot open the
file or cannot download Adobe Acrobat Reader:
i-counseling cannot provide assistance in loading or using Adobe
Acrobat Reader. Please contact Adobe directly through www.adobe.com.
Please do not purchase a course without verifying that you can
download the course materials. i-counseling does not provide refunds.
You also may consider using a public access computer at locations
such as the public library.
